Plant/Final use electrical efficiency

The final use electrical efficiency is the exploited electricity generated from the biomethane compared to the biomethane energy content. It can be calculated with the CHP efficiency considering also the CHP consumption. In a sample case where biomethane is used by a CHP system with an elecrical efficiency of 40% and that use 3% of the generated electricity for the CHP services (cooling, software, lights, etc), the efficiency to be considered is 40 x 0,97 = 38,8%.
